In the cloud – pretty orange salad
I made this salad for my family’s Easter celebration. I like the pretty color as much as the flavor. (You can tell I got a little messy with my mixing.)
1 small container cottage cheese
1 box orange Jell-O
1 can mandarin oranges
1 can crushed pineapple
1/2 carton whipped topping
Combine Jell-O with cottage cheese. I usually add a teaspoon of sugar because the orange flavor can be tart, but it’s not necessary. Add in the pineapple and oranges, saving a few slices to garnish the top. Fold in whipped topping. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
